![]() 02 June 2007: Two members of the Kline automotive fleet participate in the 1st Annual Argyle Car Show and the Sonic Car Show in Denton. |

![]() ...and Andrew's 2007 Mustang GT, which took 2nd place for best audio system at the Argyle Show. |
![]() There were some nice cars here, such at this Z/28 Camero. |
![]() Several trucks were at the show as well, including one without paint (primer only) that was awarded a people's choice top 10 trophy, while my TA sat unrecognized - all I received got was a Sonic coffee mug and Sonic Licence Plate frame. Andrew and I later realized that this was our own fault, for we had voted for the most undistinguished cars at the show, thinking that this approach would benefit my Trans Am. I guess several people did this, because the trucks won big, while the rest of us, including two awesome Corvettes, sat unnoticed. The only redeeming aspect of this show, aside from lessons learned, was the fact that Andrew's Mustang did received top 10 honors! There were no official judges at this show. |
![]() My time at the Sonic Car Show was not for naught. While waiting for the results, I began reading The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, having just finished The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. Next Stop: On site at an offsite meeting. |
