![]() 22 June 2007: the Trans Am leaves the design review, returns to her nest for a day or so, and then heads out to visit Ryan, with Aric riding shotgun. |
![]() Ryan and his mom Wanda are good friends from Cross Timbers Community Church. Ryan has a number of disabilities, but his story is one of inspiration, courage, determination of perserverance. Frequent readers of this blog will recall Ryan's Hat Trick from October 2006. Here we see Ryan taking the mound. |
![]() Ryan receives and accepts the call from the catcher. |
![]() Ryan uses eye contact only to mask his intentions. His demeanor is one of glee, for he knows that you cannot protect yourself from the pending pitch. |
![]() The wind up, which involves switching hands, is designed to puzzle the batter. |
![]() Ryan's follow through ensures good delivery of the pitch. |
![]() Then there is RoboSapien, a new kind of child's toy that I must confess find interests with adults as well. A remote control is used to command RoboSapien to perform a number of tasks. |
![]() This crazy robot can do all sorts of things. He will dance, say "Hey Baby," then follow you around the room calling "here, kitty, kitty, kitty" with eyes a glow and can also stand up from a flat back position without rolling on his side first. |
![]() Aric feels the effects of the sugar cookies provided by Wanda, while Ryan partially retains his game face. I am just happy to be here. |

![]() Lookin' right at home! |
![]() Ryan's presence in the TA fogs up the front window! |
![]() Looking forward to seeing Ryan again, and soon! Next stop: a series of restorations. |
