15 October 2004, our Golden Retriever gave birth this evening and into Saturday morning.
This was her first litter and our first experience as well, so we didn't know how many puppies to expect.
We figured maybe six, but at about 1:45 am on Saturday the 10th and final doggie was born.
A child's wading pool makes a great nursery. The pups cannot climb out of the tub - yet.
This is one of just three dark brown pups.
There are three dark pups and seven light colored pups.
The mom is a darker color, while the dad is a lighter, almost blonde color.
