A Medical Timeline

This page presents my medical experiences in a graphical format as a function of topic and time. Not much commentary here, so check the site map and links contained herein for more information.

Notes:
1. Tumor identified 30 January 2004. Surgery 04 February 04
2. Conformal radiation and concurrent oral Temodar chemotherapy beginning 08 March 04, lasting six weeks
3. Monthly Temodar continuing until the fall of 2006. Carboplatin chemo starting in June 2007, discontinued in November 2007 (return of clean scans)
4. Bi-monthly MRIs beginning June 2004, moving to monthly in June 2007 (tumor recurrence), then back to bi-monthly in November 2007. One PETscan.
5. Decadon steriod taken to control swelling of brain prior to surgery; gradually phased out during radiation. Zofran and Kytril sometimes taken with Temodar, but eventually stopped, due to impact to GI tract. Keppra started in June 2005 in response to a seizure and continues to this day. The Avastin was stopped two months after the first clean scan following the recurrence.
