17 October 2004, many folks from EFW participated in the Light the Night walk to raise money to fight blood cancers. The walk took place in the evening at Sundance Square in Ft. Worth, Texas. Each participant was given a balloon containing a light that was switched on during the event. There was so much wind, however, that many folks' balloons escaped.
Of course, this is what we want to do to cancer: blow it away...
Kathy, Aimee and Aric also walked with me at the Light the Night event.
I pulled the two kids in a wagon part of the way - they wanted to walk part of the way as well.
All of these folks are cancer survivors and are affiliated with EFW either as an employee or the wife/son/daughter of an EFW employee.
The green shirts indicate that we are survivors.

since it is loud, even in vibrate mode, and since it goes off so frequently!
