06 July 2008: Time to take the Trans Am out for the evening. I am averaging a meager 71 miles per month on my machine - not good
for a 32 year old classic car, but I find few causes worthy of the extraction of the TA from the protection of the garage.
But the meeting tonight is an extraordinary affair, a multi-dimensional mission of hope...
Indeed dinner with my good friends Johnny, Jan, Steve and Deidra at Saltgrass in Irving is not unlike the dinner with Jon and Larry at Saltgrass Ft. Worth last year. Our evening began with a brain tumor discussion and morphed into a missions conference! I truly
enjoyed our visit and look forward to seeing these brothers and sisters in Christ again in the near future!
A nice drive back home after sunset stirs up a wealth of memories and gratitude for the Lord's faithfulness
and protection all of these years in general, and during the past 4 1/3 years in particular.
