![]() 03 September 2006: Time to clean the pool filters. It is always time to clean up the pool. I suppose this will forever be the case for a pool surrounded by an acre of oak trees. When I took this pic, I was half way through the process. Can you tell which filters I cleaned? A song comes to mind of how the creation testifies to a Creator. From the enormity of the universe to the smallest microscopic detail, I am beginning to see God's handiwork, genus, and design in Every Little Thing. What makes the difference between the clean cartridges and the algae riddled ones? Water. I used high pressure water to blow the filth out of and off of the cartridges. I'm seeing a picture of the Lord's work of salvation from my tiny perch today, even as I purify my swimming pool, because in the same way, Jesus Christ offers to cleanse you. He can wash your spirit so that you stand before God the Father clean, declared righteous and forgiven. Eternity is not something to be uncertain about. Want to learn more? |
![]() Here is a picture of the South side of our yard. Part of the lawn thrives, while other sections are a barren wasteland. What makes the difference between life and death? Water. The watered section lives, the unwatered areas die. I see, in this Every Little Thing picture, a parallel to the work of Christ, who describes Himself as "Living Water." Those who have received Him have this eternal water (life). Those who have not received Him have eternal death. Eternity is not something to be uncertain about. Want to learn more? If not, why not? |
