29 September 2006: Its bath time for my Trans Am. I do not drive this machine often, but just sitting in the garage still yields a film of dust that needs to be removed. So I spotted this person while driving South on Hwy 377...(previous stop: the Field of Mourning)
I find myself unable to ignore these pleas to get get my TA washed right here, right now!
This car wash, and related events this day, was hosted by the Oak Hill Community Evangelical Free Church
There was only one car ahead of me in line when I arrived, making this deal one of the best kept secrets in Denton County.
Very friendly people, some of whom I remember from the days when my children were involved in the AWANAs program. If you are looking for a small church with solid Biblical Teaching, I can recommend this church.
The laborers line up to receive a well-deserved "thank-you" and validate, by their collective leaning to the left
and towards the car, my theory that this car has an attraction all its own.
I am trying to take my leave of these great folks, but they appear desirous of an immediate, repeat visit.
