![]() On 15 July 2006, Kathy, Aric and I went to see several concerts at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Andrew and Aaron had been at camp all week, along with many other high school muscians. We do not have a high quality digital camera, at least not one that works well in low lighting conditions. We have ordered a CD/DVD with all of the available images and songs, so perhaps I can replace these poor quality pictures with better ones in the next month or so. The camera performs well in outdoor lighting situations, as seen in the photographs we snapped during our visit to Hot Springs just prior to the concert. |
![]() Perhaps you can detect Aaron playing the clarinet in this pic. |
![]() Aaron prepares for the next song, Mambo No. 5 arranged by Mr. Jay Bocook. |
![]() Andrew's band takes the stage. Four bands performed on Saturday. |
![]() I could not see Andrew from the lower level of the auditorium, so I went to the balcony... |
![]() ...the view from the balcony was much improved, but the distance increased proportionally. I had to use max zoom on the camera, and so...hopefully better pictures will be available in about one month when the event CD/DVD arrives! |
![]() As Andrew's band neared the end of their last song, The U.S. Field Artillery March, the four trombone players came to the front of the stage and did an awesome 'solo' that left the audience shouting for more with a standing ovation. Andrew is the second bone player from the left. |
