Level 7 Gymnastics

24 February 2007: Aimee emerges from her enclave for her first competition as a Level 7 gymnast.

Level 7 Gymnastics

Aimee is here with her good friend Rachel.

Kathy and I are here as well; happy to be here, actually. We just have our game face on;
either that or we are caught in a tractor beam of some sort.

Flying around the parallel bars, one of four subevents at this meet.
Note the two people in the lower right corner of the pic - stunned at Aimee's performance.

The Beam shows off Aimee's flexibility and balance.

Level 7 Gymnastics

Aimee makes this look easy, but I do not think I could even stand on so narrow a platform,
much less actually do anything while up there - other than falling off.

Level 7 Gymnastics

Aimee takes her rightful place on the podium as the top gymnast in her division this evening!
There will be many more competitions this season, but she is off to her best start ever!

Eating at Steak and Ale is a bit unusual for us, especially at 10:30 pm,
but a fully warranted celebration in view of Aimee's superb success this evening.
