![]() On 15 July 2006, Kathy, Aric and I went to see several concerts at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Andrew and Aaron had been at camp all week, along with many other high school muscians. The performances began today at 2pm. This gave mom, dad and Aric an opportunity to do a little sightseeing. We began at Pirate's Cove Adventure Miniature Golf course. The annoying overhead power lines are included in this picture for no additional charge. |
![]() Pirate's Cove definitely raises the bar in terms of miniature golf, plus you get an interesting history lesson about Black Beard, incrementally with each hole you play on the course. |
![]() Kathy walks purposefully and prepares for her next shot. She made several holes in one. I had no idea how skilled she was that this game. |
![]() Aric and I did okay at Pirate's Cove, but we evidently misbehaved and suffered the consequences! |
![]() From Pirate's Cove, it was on to the Hot Springs. Great view from the mountain. |

![]() Down the trail, enjoying every step, even in the 100 deg, 65% humidity. |
![]() It is called Hot Springs for a reason! I can't keep my hand in this water. |
