25 December 2007: Christmas Day. Our tree this year was dominated by the Hallmark Frosty and Friends series. We could not hang our best ornaments (mangers and similar figures) for fear of the cats climbing up the tree and knocking it to the ground. And then there
is Grizzly, who persists in "marking" the tree to alert other dogs that this is his territory. We have cleaned up six such pools,
and refrained from placing a skirt around the tree, and from attaching any ornaments to the lower branches.
We arrived at mom's home around 2 pm today, ate a marvelous Christmas dinner,
and then I managed to snap this shot of our five children and niece Holly.
Ryan, Sherry, David, Holly, Linda and mom look on as gifts are distributed to Aric, Austin and everyone else by Aimee and Andrew.
Family photographer Harold is carrying a CD called Arrival, a collection of Christmas songs recorded by our church's band.
Kathy and Aaron try to control themselves while Andrew maintains a low profile.
Mom was the big winner today in terms of gifts, but all whom know her benefit each day from her love and support.
